You know what I think im just going to keep it simple and go with Nitto mud grapplers 37x13.50r20... Seems like everyone likes that setup... Once I get the Kings put on and maybe body lift then maybe ill go with a bigger tire. But do you think rize 8 inch along with 2.5 leveling spacer and 4 aal will make it look goofy? Will it make it look like there isnt enough tire?

If your gonna go with the 37's just go with the rize. Then later on when you want something bigger just throw a body lift on or spacer and AAL. Just my 2Cents

absolutely, that will probably look pretty gay.... if you got the money to pay for this much of a lift and to regear, then put some bigger tires on it like you originally planned. There are alot of people running 15.5" wide tires from 36s to 38s and quite a few now even with 39-40s. Plus there are a lot of people who run 38"-40" tires that dont post their truck up on these forums. I just saw a badass red 04+ fx4 in walmart parking lot with 38s this morning. I think you'll be fine. I mean all4ford has flat out said he has had no problems.

My vote is for 40/15.5/r20 or r22 toyos. A buddy of mine has 38/15.5/20 toyos on his h2, they ride amazing and are extremely quiet... he is going with 40" toyos once his 38s run out.

btw... when i say it will look gay, obviously im exaggerating to push you to get bigger tires b/c i think it will look more proportional... your truck is going to be bad *** no matter what tires you put on it!

Just so everyone knows I was quoted $1575 for the front coilovers and $700 for the rears from DirtySouthMotorsports.

dont get mufflers go straight pipes! If you have to get a muffler then i would suggest the dynomax bullets. Don't even waste your money on a BL man, imo you can save that money and put it towards better mods and come out with a cooler finished product. I know plenty of people with just lifted trucks and a "flowmaster" kit on it. Why not have a nice lifted truck with a tuner, exhaust, intake, e-fans, full system, maybe some tv's, grilles, bullbar, gears.. who knows. Thats just my .02

What kinda lift is this? 6" Suspension 3" Body? Or 8" Suspension 3" Body looks good but needs a spacer up front........

I like how those exhaust tips look right in the middle there, might have to stop by my muffler shop ...........

I dont think it would look bad with 38's I would prefer 40's but it would still look good with 38's here a couple trucks with a 12" Suspension lifts and 38's I think they look good.

What size did he quote you for?

And also I would like the tv's and all that cool stuff but im about to start school soon so I have to pay for all of that too. Also if my truck is sitting out in the parking lot all day long I know eventually it will get broken in to.

D@mn the 12 inch looks nice! ... but that has to cost a pretty penny and i think im just going to run the toyo setup 38x15.50r20. With the 2.5 inch spacer and 4 inch AAL so maybe ill have a little more room for the tires to move around.

Actually thats the setup Marty from Truck Toyz, had told me to get when we were finding out a way to fit 40's under it. He told me he didn't know if the 40's would fit. But the 38x15.5R20 Would be perfect so sounds like your set.

The front are the coilovers with res that King designed to be used for the Rize 8 inch.

The rear shocks he said wouldn't matter because I told him I had another 2" in the rear and he said it'd still be the same price.

Hey Thumper, hurry up and get those 38 x 13.50 Toyos! I had no idea those were out. You will have to let me know how they fit.

read post #37 if your thinking about 37's/38's with rize and 3 inch body lift...or whatever your thinking about doing to get around 11-12 inches of lift.

I agree completely 38s will look good, 40s will look better .... the post i quoted him on was the one where he was talking about just running 37s ... we are saying the same thing (encouraging at least 38's)

btw that black fx4 looks bad *** w/ the 12", i hadnt seen that one before.,

ps- when does your go in to get the lift? I am seriously anxious to see how it turns out... just might be enough motivation to go even higher and keep freakin saving. Everybody always gets their lift, and then after a while feel like it aint high enough and then want to go bigger... so might as well go big from the start
