Not to long ago they broke into my truck and stole my Alpine HU w/sirius and Ipod. I couldn't live without my Sirius and Ipod so i was able to make a pretty good setup.
I bought a Starmate 4 and started to connect it, runs the wire, look for power, etc..... I was having a problem of finding a location so I looked at the suction cup barcket and started tearing it up to make it possible to mount someone else. I used a 1/4 inch bolt with lock washers and a nut to hold it in place. Works perfect.

 

I also was able to split the P.I.E. in order to wire up my ipod and sirius to the AUX.

Ran the wire under the rug to the center console. Made a hole and connected the IPOD. I also purchased a IPOD Charger and hardwired it to the rear power port.


Good thing is im able to disconnect, tuck the wires away, and take my IPOD with me. Everything sounds great and I have a little better peace of mind.
