Help On New Shocks

I have a Reg Cab 2004 STX, and i need to replace front shocks. I do not know anything about shocks....what brand and type do you recomend. I want something better than stock but not going too expensive. Now that i am going to change shocks i will add spacers.. do you recomend 2 or 2.5 ?

Kill two birds with one stone.Get Bilstein 5100 shocks, the fronts are adjustable. They can lift the front 1" or 2".

I agree. Also, the Ranchos also feature adjustable spring preload.
