BFG A/T KO's on order!

Just got home from Discount Tire and I have successfully ordered the 305/65/18 BFG A/T KO's!!! Can't wait to get some new shoes!

I shopped around and made them beat the best price I could find. I think it is funny that the first time I asked them to price this exact tire (maybe a month ago) they priced me $200 more than what I just ordered them for. There is plenty of markup at tire shops I guess. Anyway, they made it easy on me by giving me 12 months no intrest on the whole deal. Can't wait till next week!

$1240 total. Is this a good price? I did some homework and I felt like this was about as good as I could get with installation and tax.

I priced those tires at a local tire shop and they told me a little over $1200

$$$

I originally started shopping for that exact same 34" tire but financing two college degrees and a wedding this year forced me to come down a notch... Company I work for gets national discount pricing from Yokohama so I went with these for $120 each compared to the $290 each (Cosco Price) for the BF's...

Geolandar A/T-S
P265/70R18 114S+
Also a 34" tire

Next time I'll get the BF's

Just dug out the receipt from 1/2/07. Ordered the same from Tire Rack but online, they were 268.00 each, came to $1072 for 4 tires and 73.88 freight - total $1145.88. Our local dealer charged $110 for mounting and road force balance.

Well my price includes the mounted/balanced, as well as lifetime balance/rotation and road hazzard warranty through Discount Tire. This is total all said and done price, so I was happy. I could find the tires a little cheaper, but after shipping and installation it would have been this much or more anyway. I'm happy. I'll be even happier when I get em on. Now it's just time to do some smoky burnouts!

I did the web order and had em road forced at dealer because my bro bought a set of MT's from Firestone, that right, Firestone, for his 05 and they had a bad shimmy at 60mph, he had to go to dealer to get em road forced anyway.

These are the best tires I have ever had! I have them on my Y2K Cherokee...32K on them so far and still plenty of tread!

Great on snow and Ice too.

I will get some pics tomorrow. I just washed my truck this afternoon and it got dark on me. Hopefully it won't get too dirty tomorrow before I can get some good pics of it. I'm think about getting the CarQuest blue brake pads now. Yesterday I changed my mom's lexus IS350 front pads and it got me thinking about how much I hate the brake dust on my truck. Her car was pretty easy, but how tough is it on the F-150?
