Ford Tough

Hey guys..well we had a lime truck down in the lower fields spreading lime/fertilzer today. It was a little wet and he got stuck. Remember this is a 20ton truck with about 7tons of lime left in it. It wasnt in that deep but i still think its an accomplishment. After several tries we sprung it loose. Ford tough!!
Sorry pics are not great...just snapped a few right before the pull

Awesome work, you used a strap correct? I can't imagine getting that thing out without a good TUG. Happened to me on Xmas this year, or last can't remember. I pulled over to help a stuck tow truck, when the chp arrived he would not allow me to try and ****** him. He was in a ditch so it was a pretty bad stuck, probably wouldn't have gotten him out but I would have damn sure tried.

Ouch, you're going to get a lot of frowning now but not from me. And keep in mind I've put them through the backs of windshields myself.

What did you attach it to, I can't imagine that thing having a hitch.

Well i'm a country boy and know from use that these chains are tough. I use my truck around the farm all the time. I use my truck like you Josiah. I ended up having the chain attached to his back axle and then to my hitch. Actually surprised my hitch held up. The truck was also in reverse while i was pulling. We had a sweatshirt in the middle of the chain incase of the chain snapping even though it might not do much.

Glad to see the FORD saved the day again by towing out a big heavey truck that got stuck.
