You could get something like this and put amber bulbs in it but I don't know of any thing that would look stock.

Lights Black

Chrome

Ok just read where your from what time is it over there?

Gotcha that means I'm the crazy one thats up late.

I think you should be able to change the bulb as long as it has a clear lense. I think they might have them in grey as well.

Hi.

You could always just rewire your factory clear backup lights to function as amber signals (with Silverstar amber bulbs to keep the 'clear' look), and add external , brighter backup lights .... the factory b/u light output is pretty lame anyway...

At least one other member has already done this - and thanks to him, it's now in my 'mod' jar too.

Bradbriney...

See this thread:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=279050

It deals with extra reverse lights, but scroll down and you'll see my post where I converted the existing reverse lights to amber blinker/flashers, while keeping the red brake/tail light function. Like MGDfan ("From the Land O' Great Beer"...my hero!) said, the big benefit is better illumination for reverse lights, but in your case, you need to make it legal for Europe. It's an easy mod and I'd be glad to walk you through it.

BTW...thanks for your service in Iraq! Hopefully you'll be back in Germany very soon (another Land O Great Beer!!).
