Question Whats the best way to remove paint from winsheild

I managed to get white asphalt paint all over the front fascia and windsheild. I'm planning on using a clay bar to remove it from the fascia. Do ya'll have any suggestions on how to remove it from the windshield? I'm not sure if it would hold up to a abrasive like a clay bar w/o swirling. Is lacquer thinner safe to use on a windshield?

Yes, I know I missed the d key when typing in the subject.
