Another Mod Successfully Installed

My buddy and I installed the Magnaflow 16614 this morning

We really didn't have too much trouble and I do have the factory tow package...about 3 hours total install time.

The sound is SOOOO much better than stock...it's unbelievable.

It actually sounds like a truck now.

I have a few pics in my gallery, but the truck is really dirty right now...it rained the last 3 days.

My thanks to "crashtheline" and others who posted pics, hints and tips to get this done.

This site is a TREMENDOUS help for projects like this.

That rocks! Looks awesome! I've almost got enough pennies saved for my Magnaflow, I can't wait!

Looks good. Can't wait until I can get mine, just have to convince the wife that it is for the gas mileage.

I didn't ask for permission this time...I ordered it last week and put it on today and she didn't find out about it until she got in the truck tonight...she knew right away that the truck had something done to it

She didn't get too mad...now if I can just get my Outlaw intake to ship...and no she doesn't know about it either

Good luck with that! That's what I used to get the Edge programmer, volant intake, and the stainless exhaust....now I'm getting the worst mileage ever. It stays at about 14.5mpg.....Good thing that's not REALLY why I bought the truck!

Looks great except for you have the tips on the wrong side... The bolt won't show as much if you switch them around. If i remember, the clamps are welded on the tips, so you will have to switch them around to hide the bolt.

Hey vdhpac I love the way your truck looks. Do you have any rub with those rims and tires? Also what size are the rims and tires?

Glad i could help! You'll love the sound everytime you drive it. It sounds mean when the truck is fully warmed up.

Yeah, but hopefully it will work as an excuse since she won't take the real reason as an answer.
