I have the same 06 truck with 10k miles, sans the back-up sensor (I usually just run over whatever is behind me). But I've yet to figure out the automatic climate control. It's a little confusing as the auto setting will normally kick the AC on unless the AC button is pressed while it's on. With it being 65 degrees here, I can just use the outside air to cool down the cab and not waste gas on the compressor. It's just something I'll need to practice with a little.

If you have lower back problems.... the heated seats are a _must_!

About the only thing I think Ford could have done better is to axe the simple gree radio display and gone with something a little more up to date.

I have an 04 Lariat and I have all of the that except the 20" wheels, power folding mirrors (going to order those), and running boards.

I got mine for 32K out the door in Jan 17, 2004.

backup sensors, auto climate, heated seats, heated mirrors with turn signals, nice leather (still looks new), etc...

I feel much better about my truck. I do wish I had the PTM mirrors and handles, but I ordered and have the handles just waiting on the PFM so I can get everything painted at once.

To me, it looks like a completely different moon roof compared to the one I had in my 2005 FX4 SCrew. At least in appearance, it looks to be several inches wider. When in the forward "vent" position, it also doesn't stick up as high.

On the interior, the sliding head liner cover for the moon roof is completely different. Instead of the slider handle being flat on the slider, the new handle is on a 45 degree angle. And, they seems to have done a great job eliminating head liner rattle.

Nice truck. I still can't figure out why Ford won't take out that molded plastic center console lid and replace them all with the pleather. The difference is night and day. I did the swap on my FX4 and I sure was glad. I like that gauge cluster piece as well, but never could find the right procedure to replace it.

Where

Where did you locate this truck, I have been waiting for the Luxury pkg to come out before I ordered my new truck in 07, but they don't have it online at Ford yet?

I just went to my local dealer and asked him to find me a blue FX4 SCrew with the Luxury package. He could only find a handful of them, so I just picked one that was loaded to the gills with options. It took a week, but he had it shipped in from a dealer in VA.

I thought I'd surely get a$$ raped on this deal, but it didn't take much negotiating to get the price down. The MSRP was $41,910, but I got it for $1500 under invoice + rebates + 0% financing.

Nice, They really stepped up on the Options. Those Tires Alone are a couple hundred bucks Each ....

Sounds like you worked out a good deal too.
