Intakes are basic, theey take 30-45 minutes. Exhausts, depending of how much you want to do yourself can be done in 1-2 hours. I didn't have the space to do my exhaust and had a shop install the Magnaflow SI/SO, cost about $95 if I remember correctly.

Wow that's not bad at all. I knew the guy I work with must have been smoking something today when he told me it would cost another $1000 to have an intake and exhaust installed. His repairman must love him.

Yeah the intake is super easy and most of the catback systems are bolt-on. Although some guys take them to get welded but IMO it's useless unless your shop is setup to weld stainless; the clamps will work just as fine.

I'm really leaning towards adding at least an intake on this purchase. Which is the best out there? I know there are open filter ones such as AF1 and K&N, not sure what closed filter types there are though. The AF1 is a little more expensive than I thought it would be though.

Go with the Troyer package; Xcal2, AF1, and a Magnaflow exhaust system, you'll be more than happy.

Well I finally did it, ordered a bunch of mods for the truck today, I am so excited. I cannot wait for this stuff to get here and for the truck to be done. Here's what I ordered today;

Fabtech 6" lift
Chrome Helo Maxx 6 18x9
35x12.50r18 Pro Comp Extreme AT's (went with these to ensure proper fit)
Procomp 7" lights for my westin bullbar
Xcal II with Troyer tunes
AF1 intake (went with the 3" so I don't have to worry about returning to stock when I return to stock tunes for those trips to the dealer)

Lift and tires are going on 2 weeks from today. Got my sheets from Troyer today so now I have to fill them out and get them back in. I wanted to go with an alarm as well, but I stopped at two places and was quoted prices of $622 (Python w/remote start & bypass) & $621 (Excalibur w/remote start & bypass) so that didn't fit into my budget quite yet.

That's gonna look good! Did you go with the bigger blocks in the rear or are you gonna get the AAL? You know the rear will be lower with that Fabtech Kit.

I went with the 5" blocks for the rear. I am also having the leveling kit removed from the truck. I think the 6" will be plenty of lift and the 12.50" tires should ensure I have no rubbing issues. I just can't wait for it all to be done.
