4X4 and Tire Circumferance

My 05 F-150 had a problem with 4 wheel drive not wanting to disengage so I took her into the deier I bought her from two months ago and they told me since there was more wear on the front tires than the rear it was axle binding and I needed two new tires. I thought this was crap so I thought I would put something on here to what you guys thought. So any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I told them if they were so comfedent that two tires would fix it then put two free tires on it since 4 wheel drive has been screwed up since I bought it two months ago. So they agreed and hopefully it doesn't fix it so I get two free tires out of the deal. THis is the third time it has been in the shop since I bought it december 20th. And I have only put 4,000 miles on it.

Pure B.S. There would need to be a difference of a couple of inches.

It is engaging and not wanting to disengage it takes a long time to disengage.
