I'd have to go with the 4.2. Getting an automatic is out of the question; I've driven a standard my whole life and I'm not about to change

I have always had a standard too... but to get the truck you want with the options you want, you should get the auto. Pretty silly to loose the truck you really want just because it doesn't have a stick. It does suck that ford doesn't put the stick in the V-8's. But in no way was that going to keep my from my 5.4 screw
