Have you pissed someone off lately? I live in a small town to but my keys always stay in my pockets. You never know if a thief is going to steal it or your own friends are going to screw with ya.

I never though someone would steal it, the only reason i even locked it is so noone would steal things OUT of it, not the entire truck! But yeah i get the truck back today, im having it towed to the body shop. If its not totalled im going to have to get it fixed, anyone have a truck ther eparting out with good front end parts? I know for shure it needs almost everything on the front. Do 07 bumpers fit onto 04 bumpers? With the round fog lights? Because mines demolished anyhow. I will need new wheels and tires (stocks fine), new rear bumper, new gauge cluster, and some smallother things. like i said ill post pictures tonight. later
Sorry to hear about your loss. They can fix her up good as new. There are alot of parts available here, just check the classifieds. I would let the dealer fix it from front to back, inside and out. Tell them you will pay the difference on the upgraded parts. If the dealer fixes it, it is warranted if there is a problem later. Good luck...

That sucks to see your truck like that. In the future put both keys on each key ring so it doesnt matter which set of keys you grab.

You Are Not Dumb!

dude...that wasn't dumb to put ur keys in there...i do it all the time...or just drop 'em in the bed... i think that you ought to be able to trust people not to be a bunch of A$$HOLE$ and leave your stuff alone...it seems that nobody understands that most of us have to work day in and day out to have the things that we have come to have and love...

...it is never your fault that somebody stole something that does not belong to them...it is stealing whether the damn truck was locked, chained up, and in a damn fence....stealing is stealing and it's their fault...

I hope for only the best for you and your truck....and only the worse for whoever stole the truck in the first place...good luck bud...it'll work out!

This is possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever read. There is only one person responsible for the safety and security of your stuff and that's you. You should be able to trust people to not touch your stuff, but when you know there are people that will then it's irresponsible to not take steps to protect things. How would you feel if someone found your keys, took your truck and killed somebody with it? Something that could have been prevented by simply not making it that easy to take in the first place.

There is a reason vehicles have ignition switches rather than on/off switches. It is the same reason they put chips in the keys and alarms on the vehicles. In many states, if you leave your keys in the ignition or where they are easily accessible to kids, you can be liable for any damages or injuries because you have created an "attractive nuisance". In other words, you tempted a child into doing wrong. Doesn't seem fair but it does happen even though it happens more often with swimming pools and trampolines.

i believe in what he said, its completley retarted how we have to babysit everything we own because of the worthless ****** out there who have nothing better do. Anyways, I looked overmy truck, it needs the front bmper, the piece obove the front bumper, grill, replace bug shield, hood has a small dent but a bug shield would cover it, or it can be fixed, a rear bumper (the old one may be able to be fixed), gauge cluster (i already have one), drivers side window, and drivers side mirror, and some paint on the front right fender and passenger door. It has BRAND NEW LEATHER, and I babied the truck like it was all i had. Would anyone be interested in buying it? As I think I may get a new one, but im just testing waters. It wouldnt take much to fix it. thanks!

hey, does everybodies 4x4 seem to shift very late, I know its a torque gear, but I had to move the truck today at the body shop to outback in there impound yard until insurance decides, and I buy it back so I can get it fixed. It was recovered in 4x4 low, and today was the first time i drove it since it was stolen (about 2 blocks), but it seemed like wasnt shifting till almost 5 or 6 thousand rpm? Ive never driven it in 4x4 low , so i was just curious.

That sounds about right. You shouldn't drive faster then about 15 MPH in 4lo. It uses deeper gearing for increased torque.
