Gear ratio hardly effects hp. Its the rolling mass of the bigger wheels and tires that has the most effect. How much air pressure also effects dyno numbers. Some lightweight slicks with 12psi will show lower numbers then regular street wheels/tires running 30psi. Havent quite figured that one out yet.

400rwhp isnt enough in any truck imo. Still dogs at that power level.

im sorry but you cant say that the trucks have only 202 to the wheels with what we know. There are so many paramators taht you just dont know. first off no dyno is the same. there are many different manufactures and none of them will give you the same read. Next they dont tell you humidity, air tempature, if the vehicle was placed under load.... All you can tell from a dynbo is the number gain. Thats it. On top of that we dont even know if they ran the baseline and follow up on the same configurations. There are just way to many ways to fuge numbers on a dyno.

for example I have a turbo civic hatch. 1 dyno it does 399.6whp the other is only at 333.0whp done 3 days apart right down the street from each other.

just food for thought.

Hi.
True, but the trucks themselves are all over the map ...

So, if you put on smaller tires will you gain HP?
