I think it looks pretty sweet! Plus for msrp of only 1000 it seems like its going to be a good buy.

That *does* look like a handy-dandy unit. It looks smaller than a double din though? maybe that's just the photo distortion or something?

It is a double din. MSRP Is 1000.00 Crutchfield is taking preorders at 850.00. Realease date is somewhere around march 1. Some dealers have them already although we won't have ours until middle of march.!

The only bad thing about this unit is that it only has one drive unlike the d1 and d2. But on the plus side it will play dvd's and has way better ipod functions.

I wonder how hard it wil be to by-pass the safety features... But that is a sexy looking unit, esp for the price... The IVA-W200 is that, but you need to spend another $700 for the Blackbird w/ dock (not the W205 though, only $500)

i have the jensen 9021ts in my truck, has awesome ipod controls

Where do you see the preorder price of 850 at Crutchfield? I went to their site and it says $999

I might have to replace my AVIC D2 with this unit, I really like the looks of this one though. I might have to trade up.
