Thanks fellas. I sure hope this solves others problems and not just my own.

I am wondering if all of our trucks are made at the same plant! I know other f-150 drivers who dont have the problem but our trucks are made at different factories. Mine is made in kansas city! anyone else?

If you can feel the foam sticking out from under the windshield, you'll also notice a "track" that the foam follows. My drivers side end was left open without any foam. I figure turbulent wind could get in there, so I squirted some spray foam in there too. Directly below the foam, there is a seam that is exposed. This is where I put the weatherstripping. The only way I could see this is with an old makeup mirror my wife had. I made sure that I covered the area where the noise was coming from (directly in line with the steering wheel) and went as far as my hand could reach across the entire area. The wiper motor got in the way, but I put another layer on it to be sure that it was sealed. You can only go so far on the passenger side due to an intake of some sort. I know its hard to describe, but this seemed to have solved my problem....fingers crossed.
Good deal camlocker, that's darn reassuring here... I'm getting good at taking the plastic cowls off by now. I'll try the mirror thing to get a good look at it before I spray foam it. Would hate for it to expand into the wiper arm mechanisms. Also, maybe an extension to the tube ( a straw or somethin ) on the spray foam will get further on passenger side if needed, I know what you mean here, I was trying to get my arm down there but it sounds loudest in the center of the dash. Now to just get some warm weather again.

It's gonna be tough trying to take pics since the part described is underneath the cowl. I have big hands and it was a job just getting the stripping under there. I assure you that I have not had anymore odd noises coming from the dash area and the wind noise has been reduced by at least 80%. I love my truck.
