Finally Installed Leveling Kit

The factory tires finally were to the point that they needed replaced. So I did the 2" AutoSpring lift and went up a size in tires.

I had a local shop do the install and an alignment for $150.00 and then install a set of TOYO OPEN COUNTRY A/T 285 65R18's I did have some worry about ride quality going from P series to a LT series tire and a 10 ply none the less. I have put about 300 miles on it so far and the difference is not that bad... besides it a freakin truck...

Thanks guys, I did not want to get too crazy with it. I feel that this is how it should have rolled off the assy line.

Looks great, curious what are your measurments now from the ground to the moulding lip? I went from 37" to 39" with my Bilstein 5100s and 40" rear(stock height but better shock). Thanks.

Looks great! I have the exact same truck with 285 bfg at's and a 2" leveling kit sitting in my living room waiting to go on. Now I know exactly what my truck will look like. The weather has just been too cold to install the leveling kit. The local 4x4 shop wanted 250 to install because he couldn't comprehend the AS leveling kit doesn't require complete dissasembly of the front coil... I'll just do it myself

Good question... I will have to get back to you on that one...

I had the same issue, they did not want to do it at first. I broke out the instructions and showed them that they did not have to take the struts apart. Once they saw that they agreed to do it. $250 is insane... if they were gonna charge me that, I would have done them myself. I was just too lazy to clear my garage out enough to get the truck in.
