Dam Northside Ford in San Antonio charged me $10 for just labor on my oil change last weekend! I have never been charged more than $7. I usually just stop at my local jiffyxxxx and slip the guy $5 but I realized that it is better to get the paper work and have Ford be responsible for the labor. I have had a oil filter put on WRONG and since I had slipped the guy $5 under the table I had to go out and buy 6 quarts of my Mobile 1 full synthetic oil and new filter (for my Z71) a few days later and do it myself. Now I feel better about waiting alot longer at a dealership but knowing everything that has a grease fitting is getting grease, and I have paperwork to back it up.

Well, if you question the 7 qts, it doesn't hurt to ask if you might have the 4.6. Did you look in the manual? What does it say for a 5.4?
