PIE in '06 f150

i have tried this in the audio section with no luck and i cant find my answer in a search so here i go....

i have heard that the PIE will not work on the 06 with factory sat radio....first, is that true?

second, i have changed out my radio now to one out of an 07...will the PIE work with that radio or is it a wiring problem?

i know the 07 has the line input option now, but i dont have the spot on the dash like the 07 trucks and i dont think anyone has come up with a way to get one yet....if so, please fill me in...i saw someone buy the tray with the plug for about $50, but just no wiring yet......that will solve my problem if we can get it to work.....thanks

logjamelectronics.com has one for the Sat radios. I was just on thier site and for another vehicle and decided to look at the Ford page. Maybe call them and see if it works with the F150, I did not look that close.
