strong nerf bars

I've been contimplating putting some nerf bars on my truckc. I've looked all arround and seen tons of bars. Did a search here and didn't really find what I was looking for. I've seen a few threads on here of steps that seemed to be bent to easily for my taste.
Basicly what I'm looking for is a step that doesn't drop down very much since I won't be lifting it soon and even then not much. I'm also wanting something that will provide some protection for the body panels. maybe some made of the type of tubing that roll cages are made out of. Something that could take a decent bang and/or drag and not be destroyed. They make all kinds for Jeeps. Hopping they have something for our trucks too.

These were about the closest I could find.

for the price of nerf bars these days and brushguards for that matter you could get someone to make you rock sliders however you wanted them, mine only cost a few hundred dollars and offer actual protection for your truck and look better in my opinion

If looking for something to drag/slide on then N-Fabs wouldnt be what you want....the steps themselves would get hung up. Be better off with something like Lewisbest suggest. But as far as really strong steps that will be able to take a hit and protect the rocker in everyday use then the N-Fabs are it. I just put a set on my Screw (cab length) I weigh 300 lbs. and not a bit of flex. No pics yet, just put them on then my truck got banged up. But go directly to N-Fabs website they are cheaper than Cabelas.

The rock sliders were more in line with what I was looking fore. Something to step on if I want to but more for protection. Was just hoping someone sold them. I don't know of anyplace to go here to have them fabed up.

Are those from ShrockWorks? He is out of Houston and makes some top notch products for Xterra's, Jeeps, and Toyotas.
www.shrockworks.com I bet if enough people were interested, we could probably convince him to make some for these trucks.

The good thing about that type of rock slider is that if your lifter, you can attach your high lift to those.

I've checked half a dozen places and as hard as it is to believe the NFab web site is the cheapest. I've never seen that before. The others can run from $380 all the way to $490. Awfully big gap from $360 to $490

I did find these by Daystar but I havn't seen them for less than $500

I assume you've also seen the discount Nfab offers buying direct from them. It's not a permanent mark down but its a little cheaper. Mine were $454 shipped to Mass. ($75 of that was freight shipping)
