Keeping this thread alive....two years later!

Btown:
I am interested in swapping out my jump seat like you did here. My 4WD shifter is on the floorboard below the radio/temp controls and I am concerned about this interfering w/the console. If you still have the truck from this thread, will you please measure the length from the front mounting bolts to the front of the console. Thank you very much!

Here you go. You have about 10". Not much room. I have never seen the manual transfer case lever on this style truck so maybe there is enough room? I don't know if this console was an option with the manual transfer case. Last year I traded a guy on here my jump seat for his console.

I have the floor mounted 4x4 shifter and I have no clearance problems. The lever will touch the console when you're in 4Lo, but it's not a problem.

If you have a jumpseat, yes. You remove it and the console bolts right up.

I did this change out on my 2007 Regular cab. It's a little different than yours. The console itself was beyond simple to install. Just use the same 4 bolts. The hard part was the seat belt.

There wasn't a 12V supply.

The seat belt is bolted into the back wall of the cab with T50 Torx too. Finally to remove the seat base completely I had to undo the bolt that holds the other end of the seatbelt to the bottom of the base of the seat. A 15 mm socket worked but it was so tight that I had to beat the end of the wrench with a hammer to get the thing turning.

Other than that the seller from eBay sent me a FILTHY but nice console from a 2004.

looking for a '05 Crew "20" center jump seat

I am interested in removing my center console for a "20" center jump seat with 12V plug. I would prefer it in the tan colour, but any colour will do. I need the extra seat space.

Jump seat to Console - Jumpseat for sale

I have a jumpseat/console out of my 2008 F-150 STX i wanna unload. I just installed the center console unit. Not sure if anyone follows this site anymore but i thought id throw it out there. I know some people still like the jumpseat over the center console unit. $300.00 + shipping. Also i can take pictures of it as well, its as clean as it was new off the showroom floor. Not a mark on it. Thanks for your time. mlorenz@neo.rr.com
