How many of you know someone who does it or does it themselves. Post pictures, give details on models. And, what troubles are you having towing them with half tons

i tow a 26 foot that wieghs about 7K louded on flat ground i can maintain 65 pretty easy going up long grades about 45, MPG i get about 8 but i have a heavy foot, adding a supercharger in March to help with the performance. my truck is highly modified see sig below. good luck
My new SCREW has the towing package as well but haven't had it long enough to tow yet. With my last SCREW I pulled a 6000 pound bobcat trailer around, with the electric brakes it was no problem. I mostly just towed my bike, which is around 1000 pounds plus the trailer. I couldn't even feel it back there.
These are the ones I am considering...

It would be nice to have a covered hauler, but the intrusive space is no good to me. You cannot just pull over and use the camper without removing the ATVs. These haulers are just an open platform design that allows the camper to be used without unloading. Granted they are a 30 footer, but the weight is at a minimal (GVWR = 6500) for what it is. Other toy haulers are just too damn tall for me as well. Colorado foothill winds can be a pita sometimes, so I would also like to go for a lower profile rig.

I tow my boat and have a 7X16 enclosed trailer that I tow. The trailer has been towed once, from Las Vegas to Fairbanks, Alaska. The total weight of truck and trailer was 12,500 pounds. The boat is quite a bit less, and the truck pulls it no problem. The performance tune I have for my truck was not set up for towing, so I had some pinging on the drive from Vegas with the heavy load, and I burnt through a set of spark plugs which made me lose most power over 2500 RPM's. Making those last couple of mountain ranges was a feet in itself with the lack of power, but at the start, we were able to cruise through the Rocky's with no problems, and usually didn't have to down shift on the inclines.
I'm also lowered 2" up front and 3" in the rear, and have a little more power than stock.
Here are the loads.

I've also loaded the bed up quite a few times this last summer while building our house. No problems there.
