The rarest of rare F150's (if anyone cares)

I belong to a very small group of F150 owners that own an s-cab, 4x4, LONGBOX (8 ft.).
I just bought another one. A used 2004, s-cab, 4x4, Longbox, LARIAT!!!! 25k miles, every available option including console (except moon roof).
Ever seen a new body style scab longbox LARIAT?? I didn't think so...
Do you care?? I didn't think so...
But for the 2 or 3 other scab longbox owners out there and F150 trivia buffs, I thought you might be interested, they did make a few.

lol cool man.
Mine's not a work truck so I have enough space in my 6.5footer

You should lift it, that'd be one big ass truck.

I thought you'd never ask. Actually I won't have it 'til Sat AM but will try and post some pics ASAP if I can figure out how to do it.

Ya I would love to have that truck. My dad has an 05 XLT s-cab long bed 2wd. That is not the only one we have we also have an 01 and we had a 97 before it was wrecked. That is all my dad buys cause he has to use it for work. I wish i would have gotten one cause I think they look really nice lifted and I could use the extra room in the bed.

when I bought my truck there was one just like it with an 8 foot bed instead of the 6.5 I wasn't liking the idea of driving a land yacht

yah i do just fine with my 5.5 bed. Cheaper bedcovers and bedrugs too :beers:

Pics would be cool too

I think the single cab XLT 5.4 2WDs are more rare. .

Mister B 01-05-2007 09:26 AM

I also like the long beds.

Yea, I looked at a silver Scab 5.4L 4X4 8ft bed 7,700lb package. Bounced like an empty dump truck and turned like a Greyhound bus, but the nail in the coffin was the POS excuse for a back seat. More like a wooden picnic bench w/ a towel thrown on top of it. Definitely not made for comfort-or adults either(no room). Since I was buying the truck to use for vacation trips as well, the Screw beat out the Scab. Turned out to be cheaper too $33.5K vs $32.8K.
