As far as I know they dont make lariats with the long bed currently.
They did up to this generation. I knew someone who had an 2001 Lariat Supercab.
What is rediculous is that they require the heavy duty payload on the long bed supercab beginning in 2006.
So that pretty much means you will have crappy looking wheels, because no one makes decent looking wheels in that 7 bolt lug pattern

I don't have a sticker for the truck but it is a lariat built in Oct. of 03, one of the early ones off of the assembly built in Norfolk.
Yes, I was well aware of the 7 lug wheel issues, (one of Ford's better idea's).
They do make about a dozen 7 lug aftermarket wheels that I have found.
And there's always wheel adapters which I have also looked into. They even make a chrome hub cap that looks just like the steel wheel that really doesn't look that bad (and a cheap fix),anything would be better than the gray steel beauties they put on these trucks.
As far as I know, they only made a few of these in early in '04 although a salesman told me they would currenlty build me one, but that it would be expensive (keep in mind, this was a salesman ).

Figgy,
If you wouldnt mind, please post where you found the 12 wheels for the 7 lug pattern. I have been digging for over a year and have found 2 and the wheel-skins you speak of. Im in the same boat......and Rancho says their lifts wont work on the 8600# truck....why im not sure need to call em I guess. Would like the link for the wheels though.
Thanks,
Gordon

My work truck is a 2005 F150 SC XL, 5.4 4x4, long bed with a fiberglass bed cover.
Special order with power windows, door locks, and cruise control.
It is long. But is great on the highway at speed. Smooth as silk and handles well. Very solid.
But, you do learn to park aways from the front door, and always try to back in or pull into the next parking stall so you can pull straight out.
We have a parking garage at the main office that I don't use. It's too tight getting in and out. So I park on the side of the building along with the cleaning crew.
But I have a bunch of equipment to carry around so it's worth it.
And I have seen a bunch of them around the farming country of the Southwest. Must be 10 or 15 in town. Pretty common around here for sure.
But the most popular work truck is the F250 4x4. More of those around here than any other type of truck.
