I've had it on all my vehicles. It takes a little getting used to if you've never had it before, but I couldn't live without it now.

Talking Both trucks

10 inches in my F-250 work truck, and 8 inches in my KR, may have photos in gallery. Strongly agree, once you've had it, you can't live without it.

It cost me an extra $15.00 to have 15% strip put on the top. Like others said, it's a little different at first, but a must. Really helps when driving into the sun.

Hope you can see it, the only picture I have uploaded at the time.

yes, cost additional $15.00 when the front sides were done. Mine is curved/arched and not straight across the front.

I had an illegal windshield strip for years on my car, the tint was 10 inches wide. Looked good.

Windshield Strip

I had it on my Ram and liked it, but did not get the windshield strip on my Ford, just because of the dot-matrix and "F150" up there. Tint has a tendency to adhere poorly and look like crap around that stuff. I didn't want to fool with it.

Due to the conture of the windshield, a "straight" piece of tint will look awkward. The ends of the window tint will need to be longer than the middle in order for it to look even. Just a FYI for someone trying to do it themselves.

actually if i recall correctly the dot matrix on the windshield (around the f150) is actually between the glass not on top like in most car rear windows etc....im going to have to double check in the morning but im 99% sure
