37's
Allright so as soon as my Donahoes sale I am getting SAW coilovers for my new lift and am thinking if I should just get 37's now or just stick to 35's. How much do they really rub and would cranking the coilovers one inch clear them or do I need a full 8 inch to clear them and be able to offroad. I am asking because I like the tires filling up the wheel well and I think 35's on 6 inch look a little too small. I know there was just a thread on this but it had a lot of it should work or no way man, I want real expirence, like josiah he offroads hard how do the 37's do for him?
do the middle man......36's
josiah has done alot of trimming as hes told me and i think eh said hes going to do more if he hasnt already from rubbing during off road. |
patshea, how did you fit 38's under the 8" RIZE was there alot of trimming? Or is it because your running a 18 inch rim?
MoBann :smoke: |
my 37's rub slightly on turn with a big bump, like turning into an uneven parking lot fast.

but lately on my right side i have been rubbing alot more than usual so im going to do more trimming my 38's are close....but it can handle it. |
I didnt see too many options for 36's and they were all to wide for me like 15.5, so really I am better to stick to 35's? Also I got my smoking deal on SAWs so I all ready got them now too. Now just to get everything togeather and start the install. :rocker:
how much for the SAW's and why is 15.5 too wide?
crap dude that was fast! I just think they would be to wide for me and the shocks are 375 each with the coils and reservoirs.
also they are the extened version for a six inch drop bracket lift.
i would think youd want a wider tire to increase surface area over the sand to kind of..."glide" if you would...over the sand
yeah I am going to go 13.5 wide but I just dont want to go 15.5 wide I am a little worried about the stress that wide of a tire and how hard I used my truck on the wimmpy IFS barrings.
i love the look of a 15.50 but the wider the tire the more your truck will tend to want to follow the contour of the road and wonder off.
Oops
yes he did.....375 each with coils and reservoirs
