Pics of my bent frame and messed up bed

you can see here how much the bed is bent up by the two tone paint

you can also see here where the bed is pushed up

you can see here where the rubber stopper above the axle is pushed up in the frame and made it sort of mushroom out

you can see here where the rubber stopper is split

Im not totally sure how this happened but I think it is from hitting a washout hole that was about 3 feet deep and about 4 feet wide(I took measurments). the front end took all the punishment from the hit or atleast I thought so. Still not totally sure if this is what caused it.

Dammmmmn, that must have been a hard hit. Was the bed loaded down at the time? I would've thought even a 3 foot drop with an empty bed wouldn't do damage like that.

Bed was empty. Can someone takes pics of there frame from the same angles please. On the other side the the stopper is pushed up a little in the frame but it looks like it's made like that while the other side is definatly bent a LOT.

Frame shop should be able to get the frame straight for you... but it will NEVER be as strong as it used too... you might notice more bed hop and flex over rough roads.

Damage the frame and a lot of the aspects of the truck will change…

Good luck...

At least you USE your truck. I see most of these trucks as pavement pounding grocery getters.

You want the frame replacement TSB ?

That would be GREAT lol. I really hate that it's bent, mainly because i'm going to trade it off when the '08 Superduties come out and this will probably make the trade in Value drop a lot. Other than that Im not mad at all because it can be fixed(i hope) and it's my fault. These trucks are build Really well but they can only withstand so much and I push mine to the limit pretty often. I've never seen anything like this happen to anyone else is what gets me.

Are you trying to out do UC? Next thing you know, you'll be painting your truck pink.

How will it make the value go down. No one is going to get under your truck and take a look. Get it fixed 'mickey mouse style' and trade it in.
