Wow, I liked very much Silverado's new front..

Hi

I'm sorry, but I saw the new 2007 Silverado and I really digged the new front end design(only).
I Photoshoped it on my FX4.
Is viable to think on some kind of a front end conversion?

What do you think?

I don't really like the new Silverado front end much. However I do like the new GMC Sierrra front end.

I will stick with the front end styling of our truck but, I do like the new front end of the Silverado better then the last one. The slanted head lights were nasty.

I like it also. Then I figured out why. It looks like the front end of a Super Duty.

I was liking the new Chevy's and Gmc's until I went to the dealership the other day. They look decent on the outside, but once I sat in one I didn't care for it at all. Something about the interior really turned me off. This was one of the more loaded trucks on the lot. 40K.

By the way, I got the dealership to admit that they look very similar to the Fords styling cues.

I guess anything is possible. I've seen trucks like mine with front clips from 04-07 F-150's, 03-06 Expys and Navigators. Usually, front end swaps are made using parts from a vehicle within the same manufacturer, but I guess anything can be done with enough time, skill and money.

You did a really good job with the "conversion". The Chevy front end looks much better on the Ford than it does on the Chevy.

WOW! Some one really needs to come out with a conversion kit for that. The PS'd picture looks really nice, specialy with the ford emblem. If they had that conversion kit i'd buy it.

patshea098 Dec 3, 2006 11:15 AM

i honestly can say i love the new chevy's but i love fords to...but i cant stand the new super duty  and i would too buy a conversion kit.

suprpntr Dec 3, 2006 11:24 AM

Well you gotta figure that chevy would get something right once in a while even by accident....

i think it looks sharp:beers: i like it.

I can see how it resembles a SD a little bit, but its completely different as well. Personally, I think the new Chevys look just as bad as the old models if not worse. 2 body styles ago were the best year for Chevy, the rectangular head-lights.

IF anything...tahoe front end is the better looking two out of the new chevy models
