I now have a Scab, but my first F150 was an 05 reg cab. I'm not as big as some of you guys, but to be honest I couldn't tell much difference in the size of the doors between the two trucks. There is plenty of room to get in and out of a reg cab truck even with the seats all the way back. I'm 6'0" and with the power pedals all the way as far back as they would go, I had to have my seat back quite a ways in order to be comfortable. FYI..the handles for opening the rear doors on a reg cab are set into the edge of the door (flush) unlike the Scab, so there is nothing protruding out to get caught on for you guys that have to move the seat waaaayyy back.

alright, thanks for all the replies guys... I was looking at a reg cab or a scab... I want a reg cab to make my own "new style" lightning, but I have been wary of the doors. I guess i can put my worries to rest

BTW, your truck is my favorite on the site, its part of the reason I want a reg cab!

I am 6' 4" and 350 pounds and own a regular cab. No issues and I dont even hit my head on the way in.

Before I bought my truck, I drove all other makes, and the dodge and Chevy (05) I hit my head in on the way in

one thing, I wish my truck had the power adjust brake pedals and accellerator

Well I'm 6'1" tall and have no problem getting in and out of my truck and I have a reg cab I had no problem getting in and out of my old 2000 reg cab either but back when I had my 96 and 94 Mustang GT's had a little bit of a problem getting out because the car sits so low a truck is no problem.
