He should be a little quiscker than that. I have an exhaust, airaid junior, ang with my edge on level 3 it runs right around 15.3 in the quarter. I didnt do any weight reduction, just took it and thats what it ran, was just curious to see what it would do.

For my truck being a 4.6 Screw 2wd 3.55 gears with just a exhaust/1714 sc canned tune/cai and up one size in the tires to a 265-70-17.

ET 16.51 Mph 78-80?? DOnt have the slip in front of me!

Are those descent numbers considering?? What I have as far as Mods! iM SERIOUSLY GONNA TAKE A LOOK INTO THE TP TUNING WITH THE X-CAL here after Christmas... I hear ya can get quite a bit more out of a custom tune.

Well then you arent setup the same as "SSpiro". I was just going by what you said. You are running a decnet time then for what you have, weight wise and tire setup. That takes a lot out of the acceleration.

That would mean that you are running in the mid 14's in the 1/4 by my calculations. Im not sure if you all are talking abou thte AWD models or the RWD SS's. But the original SS we were talking about is an 04' and I believe those trucks run in the 14.8-14.9 1/4 mile range. I know better than to mess with one of those trucks, Im not shy to admit it. Now maybe a 5.4 with a Troyer Xcal, 3.73's, 2wd, lighter truck will hang with or outrun one. Its possible I guess if the circumstances are right.
