2brak, the "reputable shops" you refer to are just trying to get your money, but that's none of my concern. If you want, do a search and find out how many people have taken their blocks out without any issues. None. None at all. Some of them are 4x4's with superchargers. It all comes down to the shops squeezing your wallet, but if that's how you want it.................

Yeah, you'd think in LA, California I could find someone to do it, but so far haven't. On a side note, you're truck looks great, and I know Bell Tech has been a round for a long time, great product.

just fina any handy mechanic around your area. I know a mechanic that employs only one other guy. yet they do good work. this is one of those things even a 16 year old intern couldn't eff up. tell them you have LIFT blocks (don't mention factory) and you want them out... easy

2Brak, there is a very easy way to take out your rear blocks, and all you need is a floor jack and a rachet and socket or wrench to fit the nuts on the u-bolts.

1. Park truck on level ground and block front wheels

2. Crawl under and remove the 4 nuts, axle plate, and 2 u-bolts from one side of truck

3. Place pad of floor jack on leaf spring as close to axle housing as you can get and jack up truck high enough to pull out block. (you want to jack up truck and spring, NOT axle)

4. Lower truck back down so spring sets directly on spring perch on axle and the pins drop into the holes.

5. Install shorter 2WD u-bolts, axle plate, and nuts.

6. Repeat #2 thru #5 for other side.

7. Optional, replace rear shocks with shorter 2WD shocks.

If you need shorter shocks, you can have mine. They only have 1500 miles on them. Just pay for shipping.
