i think josiah is running 37" mud grapplers with a 6" fabtech, and Patshea is running 38's with his 8" Rize- maybe they'll chime in a bit later

I personally do not see you needing much....

I have a 2WD SCREW, with 6" lift, coil spacer, and spindle, and I am running 315 Pro Comp Xterrains right now...your truck was a good 2-3" taller than mine stock.

I'm just assuming...but you still get bad rubbing with those 37's on the aft section of the fenderwell no?

After installing my 6" lift last week I'm in the market for some larger tires too. I'm thinking that I can clear 36 or 37's with minor rubbing. I may end up putting a 1.5" spacer on the front if I have rubbing.

It's also going to depend on what wheel size you are running. Backspacing will play a factor too.

did you have to do any trimming or any modifications to make this work? Mine looks like i could clear it but when it comes to turning thats a different story

one guy on fordtruckworld said that he drilled the shock tower on the frame and bolt back your fenders in the front to afvoid that trimming

does this sound right or not?

i have almost no rubbing. the only time i rub is at crank and turn if i hit a bump. for example if i am turning into a drive going anything above 10 i will rub in the corner of the fender well not bad if you ask me. i still can't decide between a body lift or coilovers... a friend of mine was trying to sell me on diesel coil overs...? he said since they are made for the diesel engine (more weight) that my truck will sit higher....any truth in this?

edit: the only trimming i did was the front valence i just rounded it out.

can't answer about the diesel stuff.......but I can't believe you don't rub more.....my truck was rubbing full lock in the same set of circumstances with just the 36's.......I was hitting the rear of the fenderwell on my flares and on the front valance as well....

i guess i will just consider myself lucky i don't have any sort of flares... the only rub i get is the tie rod rubbing one the spring but that is a common procomp problem so i am sure that you have that...you like the body lift?
