i have been a long time viewer of this forum but until now have never posted. i thought i would get your advice on a truck that iam looking at. it is a 2006 f150 stx 4x4 w/4.6 engine. it is a leftover truck from the last model year. it has a regular cab, machined aluminum wheels, tow package, running boards and about 300 miles on it. i have negotiated the dealer to 22,000 on the road whick includes 4500.00 in ford incentives. what do you all think...is this a good deal. any service problems with this model. thanks for any advice. At this point in the year I think they can do better. imo. Mid year last year I paid 28k for my XLT screw with upgraded wheels 3.73, 5.4, 4x4,and a maitnence 2 year plain.

 

Everyone I have talked to with a 4.6 wished they had the 5.4. These trucks are just daily drivers, they don't haul or tow anything. Alot more power, about the same mileage.
