Aftermarket Coilovers

Dirt Logic, King, Donahoe, etc... Are they really a lot better than OEM? Are they worth the money? Or are they just an indulgence?

YES!

I helped a friend install a set of King's on his Taco and it made a night and day difference, they're amazing.

from what i know... those rear shock mounts are not meant for the stresses that a coilover puts on them. i would keep an eye on that i know a guy who put air shocks in the back of his truck and the shock mount welds broke off the rear end..

What benefits do coilovers present over OEM coils and shocks?

Yup, like I said before I've helped install a set Kings on a Tacoma. Stock suspension otherwise, it soaks up all the bumps and rides amazing off-road. I was kind of leary how good they really could be until I installed a set and drove a set off-road and on-road. They ride great on the road too.

I hope this helps man!
