Wait, if I like the stance of my F-150 right now, but just want it lifted 2-2.5 inches in both the front and rear. Would a 2" or 2.5" AS be better with an add a leaf in the rear? Or 4wd blocks, u bolts, and shocks in the rear?

This has been discussed before, but in general: The 2WDs seem to benefit from the 2.5 incher and the 4WDs seem to respond a little more with just adding a 2 incher. I don't think that the coils are stiffer on the 4WDs, but I have noticed that based on others on the forum. Another think to consider is the difference from truck to truck in the same model/configuration. There is a little bit of variability in the end result (an inch at the most). My cousin's FX4 Scab has the same 2 inch AS as mine, but I gained about 3/4 inch on him. Can't explain it.

I have a 2wd supercrew and a 2" as and an add a leaf. The add a leaf made things about right, a little bit of rake, but I have a fiberglass tonneau so it weighs it down a bit out back. If I had it to do over the 4x4 blocks and shock route would have been much easier to install than the add a leaf, trust me.

The 2" spacer alone without the add a leaf made the front about 1 inch taller than the rear, and that's with a 2wd truck, so a 2.5 spacer would have made it look really stupid. 2" on a 2wd is almost perfect, at least it was for me, but it doesn't matter anyway because I'm taking the spacers and add a leafs out and lowering the rear with shackles.
