At least it was the hanger and not part of the rear axle.

Wheel hop and axle wrap have claimed quite a few guys in these forums.. me included. Traction bars are a must...

Good luck on fixing it.

Is this a problem with drop kit durability or was it simply severe axle wrap/wheelhop. I get off of it when I get hop, usually in sand. Need to change my clutchpacks /random thought

It's dangerous to talk on the phone and drive.

That's a drag. I'm surprised you are getting any wheel hop with your truck being that you're running 22's. I have yet to have any wheel hop in my truck, with the stock tires or the 22" pirelli's. Could the different leaf springs or shocks that come with the Roush kit be the difference?

could be, could also be that my 22's weigh the same as the stockers did when the stockers were bald and its only on smoother surfaces, for instance i usually cant do a burn out

come to think of it i remember getting some bad wheel hop last night while doing about 30 and nailed it

I only get it when I nail it from a dead stop...sometime. Depends on the road conditions.(Bumpy, smooth, dust on road...ect)
