I want an intake but I don't know which one is the best for the money. I can't figure out how to post the pictures!!! Any help would be nice.

Edit: I have a K&N drop in now. Would I really notice a difference with an AF1 or other? Certainly not like my Edge difference that was only $335!!!!

 

drop 220 on a volant and you'll notice a difference.

you can get the k&n, af1 withan exposed element, but if you think about it, you're sucking in hot air from under the hood. hot air from the engine rises, right to where those exposed elements are picking it from.

the volant is a closed box system, pulling air from the fenderwell and underneath the headlight.

 

I will consider the Volant system. Troyer reccomends the AF1 of course. Should I put the stock intake plastic silencer system back in? Right now everything is off and there is just a huge gap underneath my air filter. Also I installed my EDGE today and what is the best way to stick it to the dash? I'm not having good luck with the velcro they supplied. I want it to seat very well like it was stock since it looks like it is with my FX4.

 

you mayhave to do a little trimming of the plastic to make it seat just right. go to home depot and get the good double stick tape, i think its grey. lay two strips as close to the front, and as close to the back, peel an edge off and let it hang outside the housing. push it down on and once you see that its seating the way you want it, pull the red tape backing off from between the two and its done.
