i just got my edge evo. i want to update it because i dont know how long its been sitting on the shelf..
so i downloaded lightning and it says there are no available updates...
i that prolly means there is none, just checking with the jedi counsel

also any good tips for gear ratios...

 

Did you download the latest Lightning software first? There was an EVO update issued yesterday, so I doubt you're really up to date out of the box.

What is the current lightning V2.00.0024 or V2.00.0047? I have the 0024 but it says 0047 is available but I can not get it to install it keeps telling me that it is either locked or in use and can not be updated and then goes back to the 0024. What am I doing wrong I have never had this problem updating befor?

 

2.00.0047 is the latest version. Try completely uninstalling the 2.00.0024 version, then download and install this version here:

The above link should be version 2.00.0040 or something like that. After you install that, you can then run the update program again and see if it will let you upgrade to v2.00.0047.

Hmm. Have you tried contacting Edge about the problem? I upgraded to v47 last week, no problems on my end.

 

No i havent, i havent had time to, there customer service takes for ever!

 

try install updates and repair updates in the lighting program

 

Just to be clear......you have to download the latest lightening SOFTWARE first.....then you can download the latest upgrade for the programmer.....It took me a couple of hours last week to figure this out.
