Well my father-in-law has decided he wants to get a new Super Crew Lariat and asked me to see what I can get him one from my dealer for...they have 2 he is interested. Both are white 2wd Lariat Screws, one is a loaded with a sticker just over $40K (I mean loaded...everything I can think of except 4wd) and the other one has less options and is just over $34K. Last year at this time my dad bought a 4wd Lariat Screw for just over $10K off sticker (sticker was just over $38K and he got it for $28K)....would $10K off sticker on these two trucks right now be feasable? I am just trying to find out where we should be before talking with the saleman tomorrow.

I would imagine so. One of the local dealers just sent out an e-mail offering $200.00 below invoice plus $5500.00 ($4000 + $1000 cash back incentives) off all 2006 F-150's. This is almost $10000.00 off MSRP.

I just signed a deal on Saturday for $10,910 off of list. I could have probably gotten the whole 11K I was asking for if I would have held firm for 1 more go around. What's $90 though, right?

I bought my '05 last year around this same time. After price "adjustments", rebates, and everything else, I paid around $24.5k for my truck. It's a Supercab XLT 4x4, sticker was just under $34k.

At the same time, an '06 would have cost about $2k more due to less rebates.

The only bummer for me was the silly chrome wheels and no fog lights since they coudln't find an '05 leftover with exactly what I wanted. I switched out the wheels to the FX4 18's in the Spring.

Ask the dealer what the hold back is. Unless they are desperate to get rid of the remaining O6’s (which they just might be???) they will never go below this due to the fact they would actually take a LOSS. If you already know how much THEY paid for the truck, then you know how low they would be willing to go. Keep in mind too that since the 07’s are already in full swing, that 06 is digging into his real-estate AND that HE/SHE is paying for that truck which theoretically could have been sitting there for a year if it’s an 06.
