Do the F-150's shut the fuel off during a burn out when you have the brake on like the Titans?

Considering the only way my truck will do a burn out is on wet pavement or in the snow, I really don't know...

I can do a power brake easily now, had smoke 15 feet in the air. After that burnout there was rubber stuck to the inside of my wheel well. And it never cut power.

I think he is talking about fuel being cut when the brake and gas are applied at the same time. There is a safety switch that cuts the fuel in an accident but i dont thnk that is what he is refering to.

So what is the reason for the fuel shut off?

I know a guy who works for the Nissan Factory and was an advisor when the Titan was being developed. I'll ask him tomorrow, and post the reply tomorrow night. >>Actually this AM

Yes...it's true...Nissan has done this to prevent burnouts...possibly saving them money in the process.

It's actually a fuel limiter...not a complete shutoff. It can be bypassed.

no cut off here i had a pull off with a hemi and I held the brake to get them spinning but after that just punched it and they spun tell I pulled out. PS I owned but he only had stock tires and I had a lot more grip so I didnt feel all that cool.
