OK, I did the search and have been following the discussion on the autospring. I looking for any new issues and/or satisfaction from users. I ordered the 2" and will be installing. Just wanting to make sure no new issues have surfaced. thanks

 

I went with the 2.5..insatlled mine a week agao , went very smooth took about 1 1/2 hr. I would like to hear what people with alot of milage still think about it..

 

Everyone has there own opinions, I have 10k on the 2'' AS and had zero problems. Took a 3k mile trip with 4 people and a full bed and the truck ran great and tracked straight.

 

22K on the 2 inch AS with no problems.

 

22K on the 2.5 inch....no problems....actually, the only mod that I've done that hasn't had a negative effect.

 

2.5" autospring- original design. no problems 21,000miles 1.5yrs

 

i have the 2.5" one and about 6k miles on it with no problems

 

15K 2" no problems and way easier to install then the daystar I did for a buddy and no change in ride quality.

 

Did you all get the front end aligned after?

I just ordered mine today from ebay. I did a lot of reasearch and as far as Im concerned, as long as they are metal and the offset design they are fine.(but i did go with AS) I will take a chance with the ball joints but dont think it will be a problem cause I dont drive in hard places.

I can't understand why I can get them so cheap online ~$100 but when I phone around town here locally, they are charging over $200.

 

The dealers around here wanted $400 or $526 to install the daystars. What a rip. DIY and alignment cost me $135 total.

 

I want to get the 2" AS lift as well but im conerned about the upper ball joints. When i had my Ranger and cranked the torsion bars, my balljoints died very quickly, so im hoping the 2" spacers aren't gonna cause the same problem?
