Cheapest place to buy Banks monster exhaust?

I am looking at buying the banks monster exhaust. Does anyone know the cheapest place on the web? I've looked and the best I found was $463 with free shipping. Does this sound right?

Thanks,

Nebraska

why dont you check out bankspower.com. they recently started to sell their products on their own website.

I bought mine from perfomanceproducts4trucks.com 2 months ago for $416.93 tax and everything (free shipping). If you go there now it says 431.95-10% which is 388.75 + tax and free shipping. that price was for a 2005 SC with 5.5ft bed. They dont list anything for a 2006 but when I called for my 2006 they said the 2005 is the same. You will have to call them about your 6.5ft bed ?

Where ever you buy it from make sure you keep your reciept because you will need it to get any warrenty work done....even though it has a lifetime warrenty they wont do anything without a reciept (trust me I argued the point that I had to have purchased it within my lifetime even though I couldnt find the reciept!)

I also bought mine from perfomanceproducts4trucks.com, free shipping and saved 15% when I added an $11 k&n filtercharger from their power package. I don't think you can get that deal anymore.

Banks doesn't want others to sell their product over the internet. It seems they would rather keep the margin between wholesale and discounted retail.

The muffler came apart inside and sounded like a bunch of BBs rattling around inside a coffee can at idle.

I just got off the phone with Banks and they said if the distributor is not a licensed dealer they will not honor the warranty! So, I can get it from Banks for $470 shipped or possibly save $100 and get it from the performance products4trucks site? Is it worth the risk?

Thanks,

Nebraska

I'd say no, its not worth the risk. Find out if indeed the site is a Banks licensed dealer, see what their answer is.
