End of engine mounts horror story

I wrote a week ago and told of how the engine support rod that connects to the cylinder head had cracked the support on the head and how they were ripping apart the truck to repair it. Well i got the truck back yesterday and so far so good. Cannot see any scratches or marks anywhere even though they had to lift the cab to change the head. After talking with the service mngr i was told the motor mounts were bad and that is why the upper support cracked the cylinder head. One part helps the other. A nibble in the steering wheel turned into a $4000 repair under warranty. They broke some kind of timing module while working on the engine and the cam phaser would not "recharge" and replaced that too. They also changed anti freeze and re-did the oil and filter to make sure no gas in oil when cam phaser failed and engine would not start and redid pcm. I had the spark plugs also changed when cab was lifted. $160,, Mechanic said trouble with one plug but came out ok. Said to make sure engine is warm when removing plugs.Took it for ride and cannot hear any rattles and nibble in steering wheel is gone. Engine sounds like a cat purring. Will crawl underneath to see what they did but could see alot of new parts on engine from above. Very pleased with Braeger dealership so far and mngr told me that if i have any complaints over this repair to come back and they would fix it. Guess bottom line for us F150 owners is that if you have a good dealership you should not worry about them working on your truck if they have good mechanics. John, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
