07 gmt900 Silverado vs F-150
I feel this is total BS..If you look at the video the camera turns away from the chevy when they get ready to take off..look closely and the Chevy is still on the brake when the F150 lunges forward and you can year the chevy take off once the F150 tire is smoking.....a 2 wheel drive could out pull a 4 wheel drive if the 2 wheel drive holds the brake a little till the 4x4 breaks a wheel loose...I have seen this done before....

Id like to see a FX4 supercrew vs chevys Z-71 in a fair match. We all know fords weigh more so with an equal amount of tires spinning the ford will win. Power isnt an issue. Even the 4.6 could out pull chevys 5.3 if it has better traction.

That F-150 did not have LS. Apples to oranges, rediculous how much knowledge (lack their of) the folks who conduct these pulloffs have. If I can find someone with a chevy who will pull off, I'll put my stockers on and do a pull. I will of course win with my attach point higher (lifts on oppositions rear end) anyway but I want to put a video out there in response to these.

Seriously guys, this was held at a Chevy dealership and a Chevy sell, therefore, what on Earth were you all expecting? Something close? A Ford win?
All things considered, we have the best trucks IMHO.
By a country mile, we have the best riding truck, the best looking truck [inside and out], the safest riding/handling truck and, IMHO, when the mods are thrown on these Fords, there is no better looking truck on the road or turns more heads. Period!
Power is only a part of the equation. To some it's big, to some it's middle of the road and to others it's so-so. I'm in the latter group. We may not have the most ponnies or the most pull when it comes to comparisons of the competition, but if that's a priority with some, then mod the engine compartment out! Easily solved.
We should be proud to own the best all-round truck out there .. ... .. ... all things considered.
