ok today I grabbed my grease gun and crawled under my truck intending to grease all the nessessary places. I searched arround. I checked all the ujoints including all the front wheel drive joints. all the steering and suspension linkage and I did not find one zerk. maybe I am old school but are these arias not suposed to be greesed every now and then? there might have been some zerks hidden under rubber boots that I missed but I think there is none. am I missing something? I am sure there is some good ford searvice guys on here that can fill me in. thanks

 

You know that is really crazy, as i did the same thing today... Me, my dad, and brother all crawled around under my truck looking for places to grease and low and behold there were none, I wondering if maybe i just overlooked them but i guess not...

 

there are non-greasable u-joints so it's definitely possible, you're not crazy.

 

at least I am not the only one. amazing we did this on the same day. I even bought a new grease gun and the best synthetic grease I could find and now I cant use it. oh well a lessen learned. I keep finding things not on this truck I used to find on the old trucks. I remember when I first got the truck and looked under the hood and saw no distributor or spark plug wires. today I also discovered there is no in cabin air filter. although I think there should be one.
