Quick Question

Can somebody tell me what this is in the picture? It's uncapped and I can't find anything loose that was supposed to connect here.

I can't tell from the picture very well, but is it coming from the valve cover?

On edit: I just went and looked at my truck, and I can't see anything that far back sticking out of the valve cover on my truck.

My truck is an 06 Lariat. This tube runs down under the valve cover and back behind the motor. After that, I can't see where it goes.

Check the hose that is just above it in the picture and see if it goes on it. On my truck, that tube has a hose that tees into the brake booster hose. If you follow that tube around the back side of the engine it then reduces to a small plastic line that goes into the firewall on the passenger side. Good luck...

Thanks. I'll look at it again this afternoon. Truck is getting an alarm and remote start installed right now.

I thought it was your ***** holder at first, then I realized the tube was too big.
