auto head light sensor
auto head light sensor
There are couple posts that talk about location and adjustment of auto headlight sensor. No one has yet posted if they know for sure if it can/can't be adjusted for sensitivity. Anyone?
Recently got windows re-tinted (over the legal limit) and the sensors is keeping the lights on too long.

I'm pretty certain there is no adjustment to the sensor's sesitivity.
Relocating the sensor will change when the lights come on but where else could it be placed other than the front windscreen?
Of course, you can always by-pass the auto feature and switch the lights on manually.

I'm trying to figure out how dark you have to tint the side windows to really affect this - that sensor sits way out by the windshield, not very close to the side windows...I usually have the opposite problem - I'd like the lights to come on sooner and stay on longer.
