Love my F150 but, the Titan

Ok take it from me...I have the F150 and my bro has the Titan SE. Both are lifted with 35's. I have the Edge, Flowmasters, Intake and regeared to 4.10's. His is stock. I can somewhat keep up with him. He beats me by a half truck length off the line but I catch up in the longrun. Titan's are nice, but the F150 can be made as fast or faster and it looks a hell of a lot better!

[QUOTE=ArizonaThumper]I just test drove was a rocket compared to the F150. Will proper tuning wake up the F150, can the F150 run side by side with the nissan. I was impressed with the Titan![/QUOTE
I think you are not comparing them equally, Coz, I think Titan is not a V8 engine, and as for overall weight they are not equally the same. But still it's your own impression

I was comparing a 4x4 4door titan with my 06 FX4 excab, the Titan is a 5.6 V8.

Hopefully, Ford will actually look at their competition and learn that they must not rely on repeat customers and "the truck looking good"(which is totally relative) in order to sell trucks.
Can you mod your truck to keep up with a Titan...yes
Can a Titan throw the same mods on and beat the F150...yes
All we can do is hope Ford releases a more powerful engine, a better 5 spd auto, and possibly put the F150 on a diet. For God sake's its heavier than a Ram, and a Ram is a "huge beotch"

yes, it's faster
i test drove one before i bought my ford, just for fun, since i had no intention of buying a japanese pickup
it was very quick but it also felt much less substantial
when you give up the kind of weight difference and factor in the drivetrain with the 5-speed transmission, the titan ought to be quicker
...but when i want quick, i drive the mustang gt--it beats a titan

its a nice truck but fast is all its got. the interior is made of cheap material, weaker frame, and have you looked at the axle they put on those things?
if i were to buy another truck id hardcore consider the titan. ford will never give a damn about anything all yall say because they resting on their laurels. unless they lose significant market footing they will always product an underperforming truck.
