2.5" autospring w/35's 5 Suspension Pics

okay everyone's curious as to what the leveling kits do to the trucks- **nothing has happened to mine as far as i know, the joints are good still, im just posting what everything looks like after install 14months ago, and nearly 20,000 miles**
for those of you who are considering 35" tires on stock rims and a 2.5" kit- pay attention to the rub marks- you really can't miss em!

Great pics. Tolerable rubbing in my book! Awesome post, better than 75% of the crap in here lately...

The professor Sep 6, 2006 09:18 PM

I had rub marks like in the A arm when i had my 305/70/17's on but i never felt it rub any. I may end up purchasing some **** cepeck FCII's in 35/17's this winter if thats all they are going to rub.

yea, the rubbing isn't bad at all, i don't think-- i only let it rub when absolutely necessary, ie parking spaces, other super-tight situations

hey prof. if you slid under the front of your truck, how similar is my suspension picture to your situation?.. a pic would be awesome if you have one. J

Now add a body lift!

TonkaTruck33 Sep 6, 2006 10:24 PM

thats why you should add 1/2 spacers, i used to have the same problem when i didnt have the spacers, i spray painted the arms black to see if they were still rubbin and there not anymore.

alright- what makes RCD's 4.5 worth the $1000 more than the Rancho 4? rcd comes with shocks, rancho you have to buy separately, rcd, you need to rebalance the DS, Rancho you dont
