You could be correct about fuel prices not coming down any time soon because the vast majority of Americans have stated they don’t really care what the price is right now. The way they have stated that is by not changing their driving habits at all…

I did my part and most likely much more then any environmental wacko has for mother Earth. I sold my Lightning, and made a nice little profit, and then bought a vehicle that has 63% to 71% better fuel efficiency and is as fast as my Lightning was (stock vs. stock)

See for an environmental wacko to see the gains that I have, the suffering I had to endure for mother Earth, they would have had to trade in their vehicle that gets 35mpg to 40mpg for a vehicle that could get 57mpg to 68mpg…

Now I suffer in my mother Earth “green vehicle” which is actually “Vista Blue” in color. It is a 2006 Mustang GT (18mpg to 24mpg) compared to my Lightning that got (11mpg to 14mpg).

FACT OR NOT..... are you telling me that the large oil companies that have more money than god have been shut down by panty waist tree huggers? it has always been my experience that with enough money you can get anything you want. if the large oil companies really wanted to build a large refinery they could. i believe that they have found a bunch of crap excuses and pointed a bunch of fingers to justify their profits.

 

Actually I bought it for $500 under invoice, not MSRP, but under invoice. I am a good customer with my Ford dealer...

My 2003 Lightning only had 5,000 miles on it and sold for $30,000 which I purchased for $27,200 (owed like $20,500) so took the profit and put it down towards the Mustang...

I tend to be an optimistic person and thus try to look at the bright side of things. I look at higher gas prices as a way to reduce traffic and thus have more open road…

Open road and Mustang = Good thing…

alright....uncle....UNCLE. i had to swing through the Bay Area last week and it took forever just to get out of the immediate area. it drove me nuts- and i was in the wifes saturn. i know when i am in my truck in that kind of traffic i go captain insano! man i got to get out more!

What I mean is that if you can't afford an extra 20 or so for gas per week...you are living beyond what you can afford to live. I compare it to the people that have big homes and can't afford furniture to go in them.

I agree, and personally, though I would prefer spending the extra $1000 a year on something else, it is no big deal when it comes spending on fuel and keeping my truck. However, if someone can get out of a truck without losing a lot of money, and the truck does not mean that much to them, then so be it, go for the economy if it means a lot. It is just that very few can get out of a late model truck at a price that makes any sense to the deal. It makes no sense whatsoever to lose $5000 on a truck to save $1000 per year.

 

Thus proving if the left can point fingers, stop the right from getting anything done and constantly complain, they will win.

Funny, back in the 'misery index' days of the Mr. Peanut presidency, the news was no where near as negative as today. That's with 13% inflation, 8 percent unemployment, 20% interest. Adjusted for inflation gasoline was almost as costly as it is today, but it was also in short supply leaving people to spend their days in gas lines.

Yet the average news story was upbeat because their guy was in power.

When Bush one was run out of office by the press the economy was actually doing great, just 99% of all news about the economy was reported in a negative light.

Manipulating people is easy. If they don’t do what you want, moan, whine, and cry at people till they cooperate. Even little kids learn it. It works very well in everyday life too.

Before prices some currency conversion math 1 Us $ cost to us 2.150 Bs.(Bolívares our currency) so go for prices

95 premium unleaded 1 liter cost here 97 Bolívares

so 1 gallon equals 3.7854 liters

price in gallon = 3.7854 x 97
price in gallon= 367.19 Bs.

if you make your currency math 367.19 / 2.150

the price of the gallon in Venezuela in US $ are 0.17 US $

And if full thank in my FX4 super crew are 29 gallons, (that is almost impossible to do all the time, the most I ever fill was 27 gallons), a full thank can cost to you here US $ 4.59

YESSSS US $ 4.59 a full tank I use 2 a 3 full tanks per week so my truck cost to my monthly 55.08 US $ less than you pay for 1 full tank
